These monthly drop in sessions which run in conjunction with Mindfulness Cornwall are open to past Alumni and those interested to deepen their mindfulness practice.

Sessions will include a mix of sitting practice and mindful movement / body scan practice, exploring meditations from the 8 week Deeper Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living courses which will be offered in full in 2026.

The cultivation of an ongoing mindfulness group in Penryn was something Vici Williams of Mindfulness Cornwall strongly supported and we hope to continue and build this community.

Cost: £5 / session - bring cash or you can pay by card on the day.

Session Preparation
Please come ready to start the session at 11am. Bring a yoga mat / your own meditation cushion /stool if you prefer to use these. Chairs, yoga mats and blocks are also available to use at the Zed Shed. Wear comfortable clothing and bring some water if needed.

Commitment
We hope to be able to continue the Saturday monthly sessions as a closed group in 2026. This will be a closed group for people who find that the commitment to a monthly practice group helps to support them to continue to deepen their practice and keep it alive and growing. There will be a theme for each month and the session will include guided practices and also time for discussion.

Who is the course for?
This course is a postgraduate course for those who have already completed an 8 week Mindfulness course such as MBSR / MBCT or have an established meditation practice and want to deepen this with the support of others.

Silent Day retreat: Sunday 5th October 10-4pm. This day of silent practice will also offer familiar practices from MBSR / MBCT courses and an introduction to the compassion meditations from the Mindfulness Based Compassion Course
